Welcome to Generations Childcare and Learning Center; I’m Lindsey Walker. My husband, Jameson, and I are committed to continuing a proud legacy of loving care in Madison.
Jameson’s grandmother Jean began the tradition, running a childcare center for 10 years before she retired. Jameson’s mother, Debbie, followed in her footsteps and ran this child care center when he was a child — Jameson grew up in this very building!
When we had our first child, I noticed a need for quality care in our community. Debbie encouraged me to re-open her old center, and in 2017, I launched Generations.

We believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and discovery. Our child-led curriculum centers learners’ interests as they master new concepts and skills including language, literacy, art, math, science, and more.
We invite and encourage you to be part of your child’s early education. Make your voice heard on our parent board, chat with our teachers, and join us for parties that bring the whole Generations family together throughout the year.
